About Janessa

I am originally from New London, a small town in west central Minnesota, and moved north to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth where I completed an Exercise Science degree with a minor in Psychology. In 2012, I met my husband, Brian, and settled in Grand Rapids where he was already working as an engineer and I was established in a role at the YMCA, a place where I really found my passion for helping others and my community.

We enjoy the small town feel of Grand Rapids and decided this is the place to raise our family, which is our 2 kids, Amelia and Colton. They keep us quite busy with swimming, fishing, softball, reading books and doing puzzles! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being in the outdoors, on the water, walking, hiking, traveling, and I really enjoy watching Minnesota sports.

I have been with Providence Financial Advisors since 2019 and choose to work here because of their continuous involvement with and community give-back. I really like the fast-paced office environment and serving our clients in many ways, including greeting you upon arrival and helping prepare our financial professionals for your visits. My goal is to help in any way I can to ensure you have the best client experience!

When I can help you:

Scheduling and rescheduling visits with Financial Professionals, event planning and RSVPs, client record updates (addresses, emails, phone numbers, etc.), getting your online account access established and helping you learn how to maximize the use of our technology platform. I am licensed to help you with insurance products.
